Support for FishTank Diary is handled by email: support@fishtankdiary.com. Include your iOS version and, if the issue involves a specific screen, what you expected to happen. Replies usually come within two business days.

Before you email

  • Restart the app — most transient issues are one force-quit away from resolving.
  • Check that you are on the latest version from the App Store.
  • For purchase problems, try Restore Purchase first.
Common questions
I bought Pro and it is not showing on a new device.
Open the Pro screen in the app and tap Restore Purchase, using the same Apple Account you bought it with. Pro is a one-time purchase, so restoring costs nothing.
I lost my phone. Is my log gone?
The app stores everything locally with no cloud copy. If your device had an iCloud or computer backup that included the app, restoring that backup restores the log. If not, the history is lost — which is why regular CSV export is worth doing.
How do I move my history to a new iPhone?
Export the log to CSV before switching, keep the file somewhere safe, and use it as your record. Import is not part of the current release.
Reminders are not arriving.
Check Settings → Notifications → FishTank Diary and confirm notifications are allowed, then check that the task itself is enabled for that tank. Focus modes and low-power settings can also suppress local notifications.
Can I request a feature?
Yes — email support@fishtankdiary.com with the tank situation you are trying to solve. Requests framed as a problem (“I need to track two quarantine tanks separately”) are the ones that get built.
Do you offer refunds?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple’s “Report a Problem” page, and the decision is theirs.
